Representative Claman, Chair of the Judiciary Committee, moved and                                                              
asked unanimous consent that the five-day notice requirement in Rule                                                            
23(a) of the Uniform Rules be waived so the Judiciary Committee may                                                             
hear the following on April 12:

     "An Act relating to municipal penalties for violation of a                                                                 
     municipal ordinance when there is a comparable state crime; and                                                            
     providing for an effective date."
